As I am planning to visit Tokyo in the coming year, I want my thesis to be based on Japan and Tokyo.

I haven’t been able to plan my trip to Tokyo and where would I go yet, because it is a complex place and it takes a bit of time to know how to get around. There seems to be very few clear maps, which they may not be to blame, since Tokyo’s navigation is extremely complex.

I wanted to see if there were any apps available at the moment that would be able to address the problem. An app would be ideal in this day and age for anyone looking to tour, as it can contain a lot of information without the need to carry anything extra with them around.

Judging from the apps available, there are none that are well designed and free of clutter, and some are not specific to Tokyo either.

the preliminary version came with many issues- font sizes, colours and overall lack of flow. the version was later completely reworked into a new and improved design.
